Attention HHS Graduating Seniors - if you were ever a member of the cross country or track and field team, you are eligible to apply for the Coach Raffin Scholarship.

 

The Coach Raffin Scholarship is to be awarded to a graduating senior of Holly High School who was a member of the cross-country or track & field team for at least one year while in high school, and who has been accepted to a college, university or technical school. The recipient will embody values instilled by Coach Raffin through the demonstration of hard work, perseverance and a positive mental attitude. This may be demonstrated through one or more letters of recommendation provided by the applicant as well as the observations and experience of the advisory selection committee. The award ($1,000) may be used for tuition, books, fees and housing related to higher education. (See the athletic director for the application form.)

 

 Deadline is Thursday, March 29, 2012...just before spring break.

I, Coach Brinker, would like to annouce that starting with the 2011 Cross Country season I will be the head coach for the boy's team. It is an honor to be chosen to lead the boys program in 2011 and hopefully many more years to come. The strong tradition of Holly Cross Country that started with the late Duane Raffin is one that program will live up to.

I am glad to be returning in a familiar role, as an Assistant Coach, but this year as the Boys Assistant Coach. This will be my fourth year with the program and I am excited to begin the new season.
